What happens to the details you send, in plain terms.
Who is responsible
Dave Lathrope, trading as Studio Beom (5 Marsham Crescent, Chart Sutton, Maidstone ME17 3RJ), is responsible for the details you send. Questions or requests can go to hello@studiobeom.co.uk.
What is collected
Only what you choose to send through the enquiry form or by email: your name, email address, where the project is, your description of it, any photographs you attach, and a budget or timing if you give one.
Why, and on what basis
To read your enquiry, reply to it, and prepare drawings and a quotation if you ask for one. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract. Your details are never sold, shared for marketing, or added to a mailing list.
Where it is held
- Form submissions and photographs are stored by Netlify, which hosts this site, and a copy is emailed to the studio.
- Email to hello@studiobeom.co.uk is forwarded by Cloudflare to the studio's email inbox (Gmail).
- These providers may process data outside the UK under their own safeguards.
How long
Enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted within 12 months. If a commission goes ahead, records are kept as long as needed for the work, its aftercare, and legal and tax obligations.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete what the studio holds about you, or object to how it is used, by writing to the address above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. It remembers your light or dark choice in your own browser, and whether you have seen the opening animation during your visit.
